Arcelandia is a 100% Colombian, privately owned company founded in 1984. As a holding company, it is dedicated to investing and operating various commercial enterprises throughout Colombia, as well as technology based companies abroad.
Among Arcelandia's holdings are: Representaciones Continental, S.A., a retail and wholesale distributor of consumer goods with a 30 year track record of positive results; Drogueria Continental, S.A., with over 55 years of experience in the retail and wholesale pharmaceutical industry; and Inversiones Contiagro, S.A., a real estate investment and management firm.
Within the internet and technology sectors, Arcelandia participates in the direction of companies such as TeRespondo.com (acquired by Yahoo!) and FederatedTravel.com.
Our holdings generate revenues in excess of $270,000 million Colombian Pesos (approx. $135,000,000 USD) annually and employ more than 600 individuals.
